We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our sales team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will support the Director of Sales in driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine enthusiasm with analytical thinking, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service while maintaining a collaborative and supportive approach with team members. You will play a key role in identifying market opportunities, coordinating sales activities, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of sales reference materials, market research, and industry periodicals to stay current with market trends and evolving sales techniques Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify business opportunities, understand client demographics, and determine optimal strategies for market penetration Execute targeted sales trips and outreach initiatives to promote services and generate new business opportunities within the Riyadh market and surrounding regions Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders including corporate clients, travel agencies, airlines, professional associations, and community organizations to secure new business Review and evaluate internal marketing materials, promotional signage, and collateral to ensure consistency with brand standards and visual effectiveness Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Department to organize and promote special initiatives and seasonal campaigns designed to increase revenue and customer engagement Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping Departments to ensure seamless handling of reservations, customer inquiries, special requests, and complaint resolution Assist in supervising and supporting sales department personnel, providing guidance and motivation to achieve departmental goals and performance targets Track and analyze sales performance metrics, KPIs, and market data to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations for management review, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a sales or assistant management position within an upscale hospitality environment Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication and presentation skills Proven ability to analyze market trends, conduct research, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies Strong proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools Demonstrated skill set in building and maintaining client relationships, with a track record of generating new business Excellent organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex client situations Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments and support colleagues Exceptional customer service orientation with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and experience Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment Detail-oriented approach to work with strong attention to accuracy and quality Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team Your Team and Work Environment: In 1–2 sentences, introduce the team, hotel, or workplace in a way that reflects the culture.
