Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead by example, guide and support our Housekeeping team, and ensure that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards, creating a comfortable and memorable experience for every guest. Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Housekeeping team. Inspect guest rooms, corridors and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards are consistently met. Allocate daily assignments and monitor productivity and quality of work. Ensure rooms are released on time and communicate room status effectively with Front Office. Coach, train and motivate team members to consistently deliver high standards. Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring appropriate follow-up. Monitor the correct use and care of cleaning equipment, supplies, linen and guest amenities. Identify and report maintenance issues and follow up with the Engineering team as required. Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and hotel procedures. Support the Executive Housekeeper with inventories, reports and other departmental requirements. Assist in establishing Housekeeping standards, procedures and operational readiness during the hotel's pre-opening phase   Previous experience in Housekeeping within a hotel environment, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role. Strong knowledge of guest room cleaning, inspection procedures and Housekeeping standards. Excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality. Good leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and support a diverse team. Strong organisational and time-management skills. A hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene practices. Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage. Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
