Laundry Attendant

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining high standards? We are looking for a reliable and motivated Laundry Attendant to join our opening team and support the smooth operation of our Housekeeping department. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring that hotel linen, towels, uniforms and guest laundry are cleaned, cared for and presented to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, press and fold hotel linen, towels, uniforms and guest laundry according to established procedures. Operate laundry equipment safely and correctly, following manufacturer and hotel guidelines. Ensure all linen and garments are handled carefully to maintain quality and extend their lifespan. Ensure the correct use and storage of laundry chemicals and supplies. Report equipment faults, maintenance issues and damaged items promptly. Follow health, safety, hygiene and chemical-handling procedures at all times. Work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure linen and uniform requirements are met efficiently. Support the department with other duties as required to ensure smooth daily operations. Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry environment is preferred. Basic knowledge of laundry operations, equipment and garment care is an advantage. Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required. Basic English communication skills. Pre-opening hotel experience is an advantage but not essential.
