Senior Civil Engineer

• Under general supervision, performs routine duties.  • Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.  • Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.  • Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.  • Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.  • May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors. • Minimum 10 years of professional civil engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead capacity on water and wastewater infrastructure projects • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field from an accredited institution • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional registration in the GCC region or internationally recognized equivalent • Demonstrated expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure design, construction, and rehabilitation, including treatment facilities, distribution systems, collection networks, and hydraulic infrastructure • Proven experience evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria specific to water engineering in accordance with GCC Building Code, water infrastructure standards, and international best practices • Strong background in water project construction inspections, quality assurance, and conformance verification on water and wastewater facilities • Experience providing technical direction and mentoring to engineering technicians, drafters, and surveyors on water infrastructure initiatives • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are preferred • Valid driver's license and willingness to conduct site walk-downs and field inspections on water and wastewater facilities At
