Architectural Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of architectural elements, including walls, drywall, doors, windows, and other finishes to ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project specifications. Perform rigorous testing of materials and construction methods to verify quality and structural integrity. Assess the need for field changes and communicate recommendations to project managers and architects. Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve change orders efficiently and effectively. Execute comprehensive final site inspections, ensuring all architectural elements meet required standards and project goals. Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and photographic documentation. Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure on-site implementation aligns with design intent. Monitor construction progress and identify potential issues that may impact project timelines or quality. Verify compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, as well as ADA requirements.
