About the role
We are looking for a warm, polished, and guest-focused Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. What you’ll be doing: • Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests upon arrival • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow efficiently • Escort guests to their tables and provide a warm introduction to the dining experience • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of reservations, VIP guests, and special occasions • Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth table management • Respond to guest requests and enquiries with professionalism and courtesy • Handle guest feedback and concerns promptly, escalating when required • Maintain a polished and welcoming reception area at all times • Assist the restaurant team during busy periods to ensure seamless service • Build positive relationships with guests and create memorable first impressions What we’re looking for: • Previous experience as a Hostess or in a guest-facing role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Fluent English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage • Warm, confident, and professional personality • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Ability to remain calm and welcoming in a fast-paced environment • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences • Professional grooming and presentation Your Team & Working Enviroment:Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is a 5-star luxury resort featuring 262 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, plus 4 water villas, which encompass 1 grand Royal Suite, 6 themed Opera Suites with private infinity pools, 21 Prestige Suites, 48 Club Millésime Rooms, and 186 Superior and Luxury Rooms.
