Project Engineer - Civil (Arabic Speaking)

Asico is hiring for a Project Engineer - Civil in its Dubai Offices , to provide day-to-day technical and site-level support across the project portfolio, ensuring that design intent, contract requirements, and quality standards are translated into accurate execution on the ground. The Project Engineer acts as the technical backbone of the project team, supporting the Head of Projects and Project Managers in monitoring contractor performance, verifying technical submittals, and safeguarding the client's interests throughout the project lifecycle. This Position reports to the Head Of Projects . 1. Technical Review & Documentation • Review and verify contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with design intent, specifications, and applicable codes. • Maintain accurate technical records, drawing registers, and submittal logs to support traceability and audit readiness. • Coordinate RFIs (Requests for Information) between design consultants and site teams, ensuring timely resolution. 2. Site Monitoring & Quality Control • Conduct regular site inspections to verify that construction activities conform to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. • Support the QA/QC function by identifying non-conformities early and following up on corrective actions with contractors. • Monitor contractor progress against the master schedule and flag deviations to the Head of Projects. 3.
